Bat Control

bat If you have a bat in your house, then you probably have a colony somewhere - possibly in an attic space, crawl space, roof vent, end vent, or in a soffit's fascia board. Occasionally, a bat will enter through an open door or window. If more than one has been seen after the bat has been removed or has exited on its own, then it is time to have your house bat-proofed. Bat-proofing consists of sealing all possible entries, then installing one-way doors where needed. One-way doors allow the exit of the bats where they will not be able to enter again. Bats, suggested by the board of health, should not be handled by anyone other than a professional technician due to the possibility of carrying rabies. I am state certified and have a bachelor degree in Entomology, Dendrology, and Forest Wildlife.
